PROCESS
I started the project by drawing little thumbnails in my notebook. The initial round was rudimentary, with motifs being creche and compositions lacking depth. Then I take a 2nd stab by writing down the script. It helps me to understand it better, and I start seeing the flow throughout, and connecting each segment. I keep writing the script with bits of drawings alongside, 3rd time and 4th time, each time with more clarity. The roadmap takes shape in my head.
After I have all the scenes figured out, and the scenes they’re many, I started making a style frame after style frame. Usually for me, figuring the color palette takes me the longest.
